Ah. Sort of the iPod's RROD, then. Bummer, man.

Just picked up a new MP3 player myself (30 GB Zune). Hope nothing goes wrong with it.

Yeah, it's what I like to call, one drop too many. It doesn't help at all that everything I have on my iPod was wiped from my computer a loooooooong time ago, so whenever I get it fixed, I'm going to have to spend countless hours re-ripping all of my CDs. *groan*

I had that sad face icon way back when I had an Ipod Mini. When I got that I decided it was time to get a new 30 GB Ipod Video anyway.

I was just going to get some little 8GB job, but the guy at Best Buy upsold me. So I've pretty much loaded every halfway-decent album I've ever owned onto it. And it's still two-thirds empty.

My iTunes has 23.23 GB worth of music on it. My computer would pass out and have a massive failure attack if I could find an iPod that could have enough room on it to satisfy me.
