Being the RPG doofus I am, I decided to give it a whack. I started playing two days ago, and I've played a total of about 14 hours. I'm a Level 11 Gnomish Warlock. And damn it, this game's sucking me in harder than Diablo. Curse you, Blizzard. |

I mean, the character creation was fun (few will ever forget the day they ran up against the Undead Warrior known only as Superdeadguy), but after that it all went downhill. __________________ Boo--beware, he lives |

I made my gunjin character Inferno on there, it's that detailed and in deapth of character creation it has. and just recently two new power sets called dual blades and I think willpower were given to us. dual blades is a set of moves that lets you weild two swords with a built in combo system for them. and willpower gives you increased natual healing, endurance recovery, and it also makes you stronger with the more enemies you face at the same time, for example you run into a big group of like ten enemies that all want to kick your ass, with the willpower power set you can take 'em all on with a good chance of winning. but these are only available in the scrapper/stalker classes but that's not the best part of CoH/CoV, because if you play the villain side you can play as a unique class called a mastermind. masterminds can summon computer controlled minions to do the fighting for them and issue commands to tell them what to do. each kind of mastermind can have up to six renameable minions to work for them (two grunts, a medic, two leutenants, and an elite "OMG that thing's comming right for us" general) what they are depends on the sub catagory of your mastermind. you can either controll street thugs, soldiers, robots, zombies, or ninja. and it's just getting better with the nest expansion's release with 6 new power sets exclusive to each side an a ton of more stuff, one of which being special ancient rome missions and unlockable roman armor. |

| Senior Member | Oh yeah, that little Easter event is on today. Might as well get some eggs. ![]() Seriously, the game gets extremely boring at 70. There's little incentive for you to keep playing, unless you're part of some guild that raids often or something. Though, it's tedious to level up to that point in the first place, so... ...and damnit, that new expansion better come out soon. It's the one thing I'm looking forward to in WoW. That and patch 2.4. I mean, c'mon. SUNWELL. AAAAAAAH. Jeez, I ramble on a lot. Last edited by X-3; 03-23-2008 at 01:02 PM. |
