| Hello, VGF. I want to play a game... | The Anniversary of UUUUWWAAAARGH: The "Happy" Topic Well, it's been a full year since the last enraged rant about the school life I was so hilariously anal about. And now, what has changed? Nothing. But what has changed about me? A ****load. First of all, I should note that it was, perhaps, my resurgence of interest in drumming and the fun places it has taken me that lifted my head as high as it is now. And perhaps, since I last ranted during those final stages of puberty in which emotions are quite tricky and you make an ass out of yourself only because you can, it is my maturing (slightly) over the last year which has helped. Sure, people still dislike me, but I ignore them. There's too much awesome **** in my life to care about the people we all have to deal with. So sure, last year I was pissy. But the one teacher who gave me the most problems hasn't been there this year; that, perhaps, is one of the largest factors. I'm now looked upon as 'funny' by a lot of people, due to my ability to lighten the mood. And this year, I have an English teacher who actually helps with my writing, and the improving thereof. My life has been easy the last little while. Yeah, I'm under a slight bit of stress this week due to a hell of a lot of tests, not to mention NLBFT work, but I'm going somewhere awesome Friday, attending the fair Saturday, and looking forward to summer. So this time, no "UUUuuuWAARRGH", only "Hooray." |

I'm really proud that you've come such a long way, and that your attitude and outlook has change - those are huge steps, and for you to have the insight to realize just how far you've come is something that MANY people lack. * ZeldaGirl give Gale a bajillion hugs and cookies Unlike CL's, they aren't poisoned! ![]() |

I can do without one, but it would be much cooler if I have one. And speaking of happiness, read my other topic, which is a happy vent now that most of my problems are over with in this world (my FE mainly). Now is a time to eat, drink and be merry. Come, Gal! Let's toast to our happiness! -CSM |
