Dude, that sucks. I've spilled water on mine - shut it off, and let it sit for a good 24 hours; hopefully, that will help (mine magically fixed itself after I did that).

Electronics aren't as sensitive to liquids as you would've thought. For most devices, if you let is dry out, it'll work fine afterwards. Sticky liquids, though, suck - you might want to wipe it down with some water afterwards =\

Of course, keyboards are a commodity anyways - purchase a new one for ten bucks and move on with your life =/

Okay, here's one for the ages.

When I moved into my dorm room, I thought it'd be a great idea to have my microwave above my computer. So one day while I'm putting a bowl of Easy Mac into the microwave -- I really don't know how this happened -- part of the bowl dipped and water spilled all over my laptop. This was the second day in the room, too.

I turned it off and left it upside down on top of the air conditioning. It turned out fine, but it really scared me there for a second.

I get stuff on my keyboard all the time, and it's fine. Sometimes the "w" key doesn't like to work or the "i" gets stuck, but nothing big.
