| Godly Member | They just opened up a huge arcade in the next town over. Why the heck would they put a huge arcade by the beach? Seriously...we are a town of about less than 1700. No one wants to play games at arcades anymore where they have two buttons and a joystick. It's just not fun anymore. No one wants to collect tickets to win something that they buy from the manufacturer for about 10 cents to a dollar. It is a waste of space and it will go out of business in less than three months. Why the heck has the town refused to open up a roller skating ring but open up a two story arcade? LOSERS!!! IF I WERE A TOURIST I WOULD NOT SPEND MY DAY ON THE BEACH INSIDE AN ARCADE PLAYING CRAPPY GAMES AND GETTING RIPPED OFF. Way too nerdy. __________________ ![]() Click here to level up my card! |

| You'd be surprised to know that it's quite common to have an Arcades at beach towns. (Well it is for over in England) Even in my favourite beach town has about six Arcades. One has a Bowling Alley on it's top floor! Plus those ticket machine prizes are only for the people that can't figure it out to be cheaper. | |

| Senior Member | Unless this arcade is way out of date, most of the games are probably not ticket games. |

Our parents are from the Pac-Man generation; they love arcades. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

| Her Hitler hairdo is making me feel ill | Arcades are awesome. Hell, I can play Pac-Man all I want online, but if they have it at a hotel I'm staying in, I'll still put a few quarters in, it's just better. Plus DDR and still a lot of fighting games. |

| Godly Member | Well us locals would've preferred the roller skating rink over an arcade. It seems more and more like the town council puts tourists into more consideration than us. Wells is a beach town...but the closest thing to a boardwalk is in Ogunquit. __________________ ![]() Click here to level up my card! |

| Her Hitler hairdo is making me feel ill | Well, if tourism is one of their biggest industries, they sure as hell are going to want to favor tourists if they want more money. |

If they opened an arcade down the street with a few good classic beat-em-ups, shmups, fighters, a good lightgun cabinet, a racing cabinet, a couple pinball machines, and an air-hockey table, I'd pretty much ask my boss to start paying me in quarters. __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president |

Tekken 5, Ninja Assault, both Cruis'n USA and Exotica, Tokyo Wars, Crazy Taxi, and a number of others. I suck at Tekken, though. ![]() __________________ Can I has signature? |

If I were in charge, I'd ditch one of the 'Cruis'n's for 'Offroad', 'Tekken V' for 'Soul Edge', and 'Ninja Assault' for 'Time Crisis 2', and acquire a 'Die Hard Arcade' cabinet. Oh, and a four-cart Neo-Geo cabinet (KOF 94, Samurai Shodown 3, and Metal Slug 1 & 2) would be needed, as well. __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president |

Not sure, I haven't played them all. __________________ Can I has signature? |

| Her Hitler hairdo is making me feel ill | ^ My Pizza Hut had a Metal Slug 2/KoF 94/Fatal Fury/Bust a Move machine before they went to a generic light gun game. |

Also, Arcades = <3. I remember the bowling alley here having a Two-Player Resident Evil FPS in its arcade. Badassery, and lots of fun. |
