I don't honestly understand the question of respect. I respect plenty of things. I am somehow disrespecting someone? I don't know that an absence of respect for your decisions even counts as disrespect, in this situation - I accept them as equally pretentious as your belief that I am somehow mocking someone. I made a topic with a similar title. I thought it was a funny sounding word. If anyone is somehow offended by that, I wouldn't be surprised that they were offended by my finding humor in anything ever, as their offense is entirely up to whatever fancy that takes them at that moment in time. |

The joke or meme forum would have been fine. I'd say I consider it disrespectful when you purposefully go out of you way to belittle my decision to move a topic, and then act out in an attempt to make me angry. It disappoints me even more that you are a person who is my friend (or I at least considered a friend, with good reason too) and yet when I do something that is not meant to intentionally offend you, but is something I deem to be appropriate given the circumstance and situation, and you rebel and deride further. I don't want to have this fight with you - I really don't. But sometimes, it seems like you like to stir up ****, and I'd appreciate it if you would please stop. That's all. |

I'm not trying to fight with you, or anyone else. In fact, I just argue with people when it seems they want an argument, because that's the sort of conversation they bring about. Messageboards = talking, right? I'm sorry if I've hurt you, for certain. I was sure that everyone knew about my history of participation at VGF, but I am somehow now involved in complex forum politic? I'm kind of just an outspoken joker, and I am empathetic to many. If I wanted to hurt anyone on this board directly, I would generally be much more abrasive. |

That said, then there's other people who are pro-sensitivity who also argue against it. Being indifferent altogether, I simply ask people try to find a common ground rather than dig the trenches between eachother deeper. |
