Some worries I have

1. A girl I'm trying to see, who I think really likes me, is going on a trip to Virginia to see her cousin. She's going with a male friend. This worries me that they might hook up...

2. I had an infected ingrown toenail and had to get it cut out. I have to put on medicine for a few days and it's gonna hurt like hell.

Uh, not much words of advice I can give for the second one. Just get through it, and get some rest, I guess.

Well, just call her while shes down there... but not to many times. And let things work out. If they don't shes not the one.

I have to admit: I'm concerned with the way you phrased this. "A girl I'm trying to see..." I notice how you didn't type "A girl I like." The former implies that you are more concerned with getting with her than actually being with her, as can be seen later when you talk about worrying that she and her male friend will get together. You're preoccupied with the idea that you have a shot of having her, but it almost sounds as if that is your only goal, and you are not quite as attached to her as she supposedly is to you (which, by the way, if she is attracted to you, she won't do anything; I have a bunch of male friends whom I hang out with on a regular basis and have no intention of hooking up with).

My first piece of advice is to reevaluate that statement and figure out how you truly feel; wanting to attain something for the sake of attainment is not healthy (BELIEVE ME, having just had a similar experience, I know how it is).

Secondly, you cannot fret over things you have no control over. Why do you think she likes you? Are there clear signs? Are you confident in this notion? Well then, don't worry about it. Sometimes, friends are just friends.

Don't think about it too much...just because a girl goes off and does something with a male friend doesn't really mean anything. Even so, if they do hook up it's not like you can do anything about that. Plus, if she really likes you, she (ideally) wouldn't hook up with the guy anyway. *shrug*

Damn dude, those SUCK! They jammed THREE f*ckin' huge ass shots into my big toe and got pliers and tore the son-of-a-bitch out and it still hurt like Hell. Keeping it clean was annoying and difficult. This was years back. Now, same damn toe is all messed up again and now that I experienced it before I fear the hospital.

And I guess you could say I misphrased it. Getting with someone means nothing to me if I'm not being with them. My main concern is loneliness, not whether or not I'm in bed or not.

I don't know whether or not you think I'm a perv, but that's the complete opposite of what I am. I'm just a lost soul running against the wind. -CSM

Well, my main point still stands - your main concern is loneliness; but, that's not a very good reason to begin a relationship, and could be detrimental in the long run.

I know what it's like to have an ingrown toenail. I've had surgery on both my big toes to get them removed. I didn't feel or see any thing, but it was kinda funny watching my dad's expression as it happened.

I had three ingrown toenails cut out when I was in high school. Two sides of one big toe, and one side of the other. They hurt like hell. The operation though wasn't a big deal. They use a big ass needle to numb you up. Luckily I haven't had any ingrown toenail problems since.

As for the girl problem, if you like this person, do something about it. If you don't want to do something about it, then, well, I don't know what to tell you.

Hey, if she's coming to VA, maybe we can hook up.

I don't wanna force the topic but, who has ever STUBBED their ingrown toenail? Or had it STOMPED on? I bare footedly SUH-LAMMED my left big toe into the corner of a wall. And I never stubbed my left toes before I had the demo-, er, ingrown toenail. What luck!

Jesus, Jesus, I damn near cried like a lil bitch in front of my pals after the geyser of blood flowed forth... =(
