That's why I don't have one. I never trusted the hardware to function properly from the beginning and I still don't.

Keep your 360 and the stand its on stable and you will not have any problems. It is in the owners manual.

I thought about hardware problems when I got my PS2 and PSP. Didn't stop me. I just need to get that one disc holder thing installed so it doesn't happen by accident again.

Try to find a used copy of vesperia that has minimal scratching. It'll cost you $10 less or $5 less, at least.

If Microsoft wasn't getting all of the third party support, I'd venture to say they really botched the 360 with all of the problems they've had.
