Dollar's worth about as much but some **** is just expensive. New video games are about 100 bucks each, 120 if you're buying PS3 games. Even gas stations mark up prices absurd amounts just as a convenience charge. You could get a 2 liter at the grocery store for just over a dollar but a 20 oz (just roll with it Karg, I know they measure those in mls here) at the station might cost as much as 4 bucks. Hell, my DSL connection has a 10 gig a month cap, and that's one of the top-of-the-range deals in Perth. |

But I hate societies in which the only thing you can do to have fun is drink. There are lots of other things to do in this world. I only get hammered about once every few weeks though, and most of the time I end up regretting it. -CSM |

Besides, I'm not sure why anyone over there would even want Baileys. Aussie wine is really good, and I've had some really really good Australian stout (AND FOSTARS ITS AUSTRALIAN FOR NOTSOLDHERE LOLOLOLOL). How exactly were you drinking it. If I plan on it, I'd need a glass of water next to me to help wash it all down. __________________ KICK PUNCH BLOCK |

| Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | bomby i luv u man when r we gonna hang out?!?! SHUTUP I'M TALKIN TO BOMBY yo i'm gonna go find some french fries peaceAgain, there should be a topic in which Joker just gives advice to people all day. Anyway, I never really understood the point in drinking to have a good time...I understand that it does the trick for lots of people, but I don't see why some people think it's necessary. Many a time have I been around people I know and had to listen to them complain about the night not being any fun because they're "totally sober". If anything I understand how it can supplement the level of enjoyment, but a big part of finding good friends that are worth holding onto is being able to have fun with them in any circumstance. Have I been drunk? Sure. But I sure as hell don't need it to entertain others...and entertaining myself is a given, I'm way too easily amused. |

| VGF's Resident Lennonist | If you need alcohol to open up and be a crazy and interesting person, you are neither crazy nor interesting. Meanwhile, I jump on furniture and sing songs from Sweeney Todd while completely sober. |

However, it's normal to act 'crazy and interesting' only while drunk. |

| Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | Actually, the placebo effect is much more annoying. (Acting crazy and interesting when you usually don't because people believe you're drunk) |

Personally, I can get a good bottle of Moscato (sissy dessert wine - flavor takes all) for about $15, so there's not much to complain about from my perspective. Nothing special about the beer here, same old honestly. There's a pretty big market for bitter beer that I don't understand in the least. I tried a pretty awesome wheat ale, but I don't drink beers or ales often at all. Bomby, I think anyone who has to have a drink to have a good time has got a problem - and I mean that flat out. I like to drink on occasion, but only a little to "take the edge off" when I'm in a celebratory mood. | |

| VGF's Resident Lennonist | ^ And I have no problem with people drinking like that, to "take the edge off." It's the people who are obsessively drinking that bother me. Like most of Wisconsin. |
