I mean, there's no point in me going to prom. I don't like anyone at school, no one likes me... I don't care about dating now anyway. It's just going to be a stupid dance full of people I hate and/or don't care about. It seems that everyone else is exited about it, and people keep on asking me if i'm going to the prom. Then when I say no, they're all like "oh why not you should go with vivian (meowmaster)" which is even MORE annoying, since I don't like her, but she likes me. So I just say maybe to them so they won't bother me. I've always hated school dances. It's just rap music and those stupid songs played over and over on the radio. I also noticed that almost every song in every dance that i've went to (actually, it might be every song) was made by a black person. I hate that stupid "oh kids these days and their dang-fangled hip hop obsession" stereotype. None of my friends are going, so i'll just hang out with them. I probably won't do that either, since it's on the 4th of June, and that's my sisters birthday. __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

Hell no i'm not going to that. I only go to free school dances that are on school days during the last few periods. Sometimes. Usually I just stay home. :/ __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

The food was good though, and being a wallflower allowed me to piss people off. So, don't go. It'll be fun. Not going. Don't listen to anyone saying that you'll regret it THEY'RE WRONG. |

And I didn't have a single date. I was considering not going to senior prom but my friend and his girlfriend invited me to their pre and postparties so I was grateful for that. -CSM |

I'd be lying if I said that isn't a little sad or disappointing to me, but for the most part I just don't give enough of a crap about them to go. |

Of course, my group consisted of theatre kids, so we basically went crazy and took over the dance floor with silliness. Plus, my senior prom's theme was Casino Royale, and took place at the Arizona Cardinal's Stadium, so they portioned off some of the venue to set up a 'casino-like' deal, with poker. And you know, blackjack and strippers. At one point I was like 'you know what, forget the Prom'. |
