| Senior Member | Taking a long break from my friends. I've decided to take at least a month-long break from my friends. Everything is starting to feel like high school again and I hate the drama. I feel as though if I hung out with them this week that it would be exactly like the "crazy shenanigans" I used to do back in high school. I want to be mature enough and to know what an adult should and should not do. Unfortunately my friends don't share my views right now so I have decided to take a break from them for a while. |

I can't really what you gain from distancing yourself from your friends for a month. I mean...even if they act immature at times, you can still hang out with them while acting like an adult. Or something. ![]() |

You have to keep up and watch all the latest episodes of Cambodian Idol and whatnot and be able to list all the characters in Sex and the City. |

| Senior Member | It's not something I can really explain. Just understand that some people have trouble "growing up" in their 20s. For those who choose to act more responsibly in life, it's not a good idea to be around those who choose to make "bad decisions". Understand that many New Englanders around here like to "make bad decisions" a lot around here and that it is way too common...something that I choose not to be a part of. |
