I've heard so many stories of this exact same thing, and every time, the only thing that will change the situation is by moving out. The other people won't get any better, they won't start cleaning, they won't stop complaining. You won't be able to handle just not doing the cleaning for them; your resistance will break before theirs, absolutely.

I hope you can find a new place to live soon. Try really hard to find something you can afford, or someone who's already tidy that you can house-share with. :/

I've been there. It sucks ass. And as SD said, they won't change - some people never learn, and it's their problem, because when they finally are on their own without you to pick up after them, they'll be in a world of trouble.

And yeah. Consensus is you can't change roommates' habits, only flee from them.

I remember a story someone told me of when they had a roommate who wouldn't wash the dishes at all. The guy decided to stop washing the dishes himself until the roommate actually got up and did it on his own. He never did, and the dishes kept piling up. So, the guy eventually went to his roommate's bed, threw off the sheets, dumped all the filthy and by now maggot-infested dishes onto his bed, and pulled the sheets over it, for when the roommate got home.

That got him to notice, apparently.

The situation as I understand it, is that you are roomates, correct? You aren't just a guest in someone's house. However, if you are not of the lease, I'd be careful, but if you are, stand up for your self. It's all about how you handle the situation, and your legal status as a resident (or the lack thereof).

I believe this is the proper way to make tamales, at least that's the way it works for the pork ones. So it is probably normal, you know, unless you find pentagrams written in the cow's own blood or something.

I am one of the few people that will not make ****z up and post it just for "dramas sake" i mean if you want, I can turn my cam on and you can check the party out for yourself. Random strangers that these kids invited over just for the hell of it.

YES this is SERiOUSLY going on. My parents are like WTF i'm like WTF my boyfriend is like WTF, i think the entire WORLD is like WTF... I finally got a job a few days ago on campus and I'm hoping to God that in less than two months we can GET THE HELL OUT.
