I didn't get it from looking at porn. My stepdadwas reading Bleach online, and Adobe popped up, and the next thing you know our desktop wallpaper is telling us in ALLCAPS that we have spyware. And the piece of **** virus protector won't let us do anything, because we need some stupid code.

The good thing is that I had once put viruses on the computer, and he used to bother me all the time. Now I can bother him back.

I had this happen yesterday. I had to use the emergency repair disk that came with my desktop. Had to lose all my files, save for the ones that were on my ~~MP3 player~~ junk drive.

Virus scanners are somewhat outdated nowadays. If you're running Windows, it's almost impossible to not get infected with malware if you're connected to the internet and click on things randomly.

Meh, I picked up some sort of adware the other day that Malwarebytes, AVG, Spybot, and Combo-Fix couldn't get rid of. Apparently it's brand spankin' new. When I do a Google search, it redirects a lot of the results to advertisements for crap. I think I got it from "not" downloading music off of Rapidshare... or maybe because I'm "not" torrenting Neon Genesis Evangelion.
