Someone broke into my car

Some ******* busted in my driver-side car window and ripped the radio out. **** that guy.

You know what, though? Dude can't bring me down. That radio didn't work anyway, and this week I was already going to be trading in that car, which is an old '94 honda civic, for a new car and getting $3000 to do so thanks to the Air Check Texas program. Just have the inconvenience of having to drive with a broken window for a couple of days.

That's one of the advantages of new car radios, you basically have to disassemble the entire dashboard to get them out.

Good to hear the guy didn't take anything functional, though, right?

If I had a radio in my car, I'd have it be the kind you could hide somewhere really bizarre, and then put a piece of junk in the normal spot to confuse thugs.

I was thinking that, but then I'd get sued if the bomb went off and hit them.

Because yes, criminals do sue for being injured while trying to rob people.

That sucks.

If you're going to trade in the car anyways, you might as well smash a few windows yourself to get all the stress out. It's rather cathartic, but has a few consequences afterwards.

Heh, after it happened I was thinking of a booby trap for car radios that would go off if the radio is taken from the proximity of the car. I known that some grocery carts have a device that locks the wheels if they're taken too far away from the store.

Could've been worse, definitely, though that sucks mighty amounts of ass. I once had someone steal a full book of CDs out of my car. I still keep CDs in my car, but I at least make sure I rip them to my HD after I buy them.
