I don't know if theres anyone else who likes to cry every once in a while. I know I do. I love to just cry, even if it's just a tear. Crying from sadness. Not anything else, just from deep down inside. I realised this one day on /b/. Simple You Baww, you Lose thread. Nothing was really working, until I read the Ugly the cat story. Look it up, it's probably the first thing on the internet that ever really made me cry. I just sat there, with the story at my computer, crying. And I felt so good. Probably because I just need to release emotions sometimes. The bottled up ones deep down. And sometimes I can't, and that just makes me madder. This goes for everyone, not just me. There's other ways to release emotions, like getting mad and yelling in a pillow, or punching/breaking something. I always mean to do that, but I never get a chance to. I'm never alone long enough. And when I am, I forget. So the onlt other option is to cry it out. And today was the first time I ever sucessfully made myself cry. I was reading the Ugly story again, and I felt a little shaken, but it didn't work. So then I went somewhere else, pretty much explaining the same thing i'm typing here, and I just broke down. Right there, in front of my computer. I'm actually still tearing as i'm typing this, and it's hard because i'm shaking. Then for some reason, my mother came into my mind. I pictured myself going into the living room where she was there, playing Uncharted. I pictured her looking at me, asking me why I was crying, and I pictured her holding me in her arms as I sobbed into her shirt. I started crying a little more. Damn, why do my paragraphs seem so small? D: __________________ /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ WON’T YOU BECOME A MAGICAL GIRL? |

I can't even do it when I'm alone. I probably shouldn't feel that way, but ehh. |

Haven't really bawled in a while, though. It's usually the sort of misty-eyed "Bambi just died" sort of tears. I enjoyed the anime Clannad because it had funny moments punctuated with tear-jerker moments. Also, I'm pretty sure ^ meant that ironically. You have to do more than just snark to get lulz. |

I think Val once said "Men don't cry, they weep" which is very true. Manly tears are perfectly acceptable in the right situation. That's probably because I'm comfortable with myself and don't let insecurity keep me from having emotions, though. ![]() |

The first three set me up and then the last one finishes the job. |

THEN PUNCH SOMETHING Eh, the closest a movie/show has made me come to The death scene in Trigun involving Wolfwood. The only song that used to, but no longer does was also, Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood. Never really I pretty much always keep my emotions in tact and to myslef. The last time I I can prove this by the marks in my door and wall that came from my shoulder, guitar, chair, etc. etc. As far as other people crying, it doesn't really matter to me, it doesn't really make me think less of you. I don't like to see other people (especially females) cry though. Last edited by Vgfian; 10-06-2009 at 02:28 PM. |

It rarely makes me weep, but it gets me close to that point. There are, however, a few songs that do it almost every time, for specific reasons that are personal or private. |

Once for getting yelled at for something I didn't do while I was already really stressed out, three times after break-ups, and once at the scene where Mufasa dies in The Lion King. To be fair, I was trying to cry for The Lion King because I thought it was a little weird that I'd never cried at a movie. I had tried the same thing with I Am Sam, but it hadn't worked. |

Wow. Also, the metaphysical "right there" doesn't translate well in typed form, now that I think about it. Damn. My post looks ridiculous. D: |
