In fact, the 'cool kids' in the school were this group of girls that were notorious for being really really weird. I was known for about two years at that school for my flatulence, and the thing was no one made fun of me for it, at least not in a derogatory way (there was just the lighthearted joking). Because of this atmosphere, I was able to openly flaunt my nerdiness and oddities, and made friends based off of who I really was. So, my groupie was formed in about 5th grade. Me and like four or so other people who were all weird, crazy, fun-loving, nerdy, and PROUD of this. We weren't afraid to be outgoing so we really were able to bond because we showed openly who we really were. So, from this middle school almost all of us went to the same high school (that we go to now), and because we were so close in middle school with such legitimate friendships we remain really really close in high school, although our group's members have changed somewhat. Anyway, one of the members of our little geek clique who has been with us since the beginning is moving to Mexico tomorrow because of a family emergency. She just told us this last Friday. Not even one week to say good-bye to someone who has been a very, very close friend for about six years. There are really only four of us who have stayed together in this group the whole time, and now one of these people is leaving and will have very little opportunity to visit. It's just so SAD because she was so awesome. She was a member of my topmost category of friend: the kind that you can go a day pretending to be lesbian lovers with and not feel the slightest bit awkward when people ask if you're dating, and you both say 'yes' with a straight face and giggle madly later. I've known her for so long, she's such an awesome person, we've so many inside jokes that we've shared, and now she's off to a country and it'll be a very long time before I'll get a chance to see her again. I r has a sad face. D}::::: |

But at least you'll still be able to see her again sometime in the future. You and her will keep in touch online/on the phone/through the mail (lol as if), right? That may not be quite the same as having her right there with you, but it's great to be able to stay in touch with a far away friend that way. As long as you can keep talking to her, your friendship will stay as strong as it's ever been. |

It's gonna suck without her here though. |

Both that she's leaving you, and that she's moving to ****ing Mexico. I mean, the place isn't Africa bad, but it's no good. |

Vickie's gonna try to get a scholarship to go to college here, which is good, but that's two years from now. D}: |
