Naturally since I have a license and a car it'd be nice to pick him up. Now here's the problem... ...I had absolutely NO INDICATION that Dad even needed a ride home. No Phone message on the answering machine, no cell phone call, no eMail, nothing. I'd have known if he called...the telephones are right in the house He didn't even use his work phone to call home, because believe me, the Caller ID would definitely pick THAT number up. when I finally called his cell phone to ask where he was, he said "WHERE ARE YOU?! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR!". Me: "...Excuse me?" Dad: "Yeah! I'm stuck at work!" Me: "Did you call?" Dad: "No." Me: "Then how was I supposed to know you needed a lift? Did you dial the wrong number?" Dad: "No, you were supposed to pick me up when I needed a ride!" ![]() Amazing how he didn't even bother calling my sister...Because she's in town. |

If Douglas's father has a nervous breakdown, the ISP blocks all attempts to transfer data to VGF. Common sense. Sue me for thinking he had a reason to act like a nut job. |
