Okay so I have a hewlett packard machine custom-ordered. With it, I got to fill out some paperwork and submit stuff for a free windows 7 upgrade, since it shipped with Vista. Now for some incredibly odd reason, I submitted my order in at 10/26/09. So I just waited the 7 business days...by 11/10 I received an email saying "It's been approved". Yay. Also, I would get an email when it shipped. Two weeks later, that email has not come yet. They also don't seem to answer emails and their telephone line is a joke. (I didn't even get put on hold...they just put me on a machine.) Some "Free Windows 7". :| If this keeps up...I'm just buying it myself. I can get it for $30. |
