'Final Exams' Venting Topic

So, many of us have finals coming up. Or have just finished. Whatever. I know that next week, I have three finals that are coming, and I am nowhere near prepared for them. And since it's been ages since I've had a proper vent, I decided - well, I'm sure I'm not the only stressed out student on VGF. Why not create a topic and allow all of us to commiserate together?

Anyway. Finals. Stupid bitches. I have a paper due on Monday for a class that may very well ruin my 4.0. I am SO CLOSE to getting an A, but after doing the math, even if I get an A on this final paper, it really depends on how much the professor will take things like attendance and participation into account, because if he doesn't, I end up with a not so shiny B+. Things aren't looking good - the teacher said it's near impossible to get an A in his class. And this is not okay with me.

(Well, TBH, I'll live...but I will not be happy.)

Anyway, my other finals are on Tuesday and Thursday. I didn't go to the last 5 lectures for the exam on Thursday...so, that'll be interesting. And the exam on Tuesday is supposed to be impossible, according to the teacher. yaaaay.

Anyway, any of you have finals that have got ya down? Or maybe, if you've already finished, you had some that were just pure evil that you'd like to share with us?

We have our exams over 3 days at my school. I overloaded my schedule a ton this year, so I have 8 exams. Luckily, the most I have on any day is 3, and there are only 4 exams I really need to study for (not gonna worry about German, Spanish, Latin, or Algebra III), which is also nice.

Ours are scheduled for next week, but the teachers set up exemptions very leniently. So, because of my grades, I'm exempt from all of them. I expected this to be the case with everyone else, but it seems absences and lack of concentration bit them in the ass.

I deferred studies for the time being to concentrate on other things more important!!

I don't have to take any finals this semester, but I do have to give one to my 50-odd Algebra students & grade that afterwards. Also, my semester doesn't end until the 22nd, 4 days after all of my friends'.

Mostly going to study for History and Geography with a little Latin thrown in. I'm pretty confident that I can do pretty well on exams and get my grade back up (seeing that I've basically goofed off for the past two terms and really want my 4.0 back).

I have 2 exams and an essay coming up next week. The only one I'm worried about is the American History exam, because it requires us to write quite a bit about the question. We are given 10 to study, 4 will be on the test, and 2 must be answered. I could get away with not studying 2 of them, but it is a bit risky.

My grades are pretty awful though, if that makes anyone feel better. At all.

Bleh, I have 2 exams left, both of which are in classes that have owned me this semester (I am on track to get As in the other classes, which makes it more annoying IMO). I should probably go to sleep now.

Got A's on all the exams I've gotten back so far (Bible, Spanish, American Lit, Chemistry, German, Latin), and I think I did fairly well on Algebra III and History though I haven't gotten the grades yet.

I've given & graded 2/3 of my Algebra I exams; exactly two people have scored poorly so far, & neither of them has been doing any work this quarter, so it's not surprising.

I managed to get A's on all my finals. However, I still lose my 4.0, because I'm off .2 points in one class...
