I've been fighting off a cold for the past two weeks now. It's been getting better, slowly, but the work I've had to do over the past few weeks has done nothing but aggravate it. I've had to stand outside - in the cold, windy weather, for up to 3.5 hours straight without a break with a cold, and I'm the ONLY one who had to work two shifts per day. Worse, my coworkers don't seem to care that I'm sick and are taking swipes at me more often than usual (I don't mind the occasional swipe or even the often swipe but there are times when I can't have it and this is one of those times). Even worse, my family doesn't seem to be interested in me (which is understandable considering my sister is going away on Sunday and they want to focus on her), but then my mother is going away to Florida with her rich friends. I feel very stressed out, disrespected, and ignored. I can't even confide in my family. And I have no plans for the Super Bowl nor Valentine's Day, meaning I'll wind up having to fend for myself with no moral support for the next two weeks or so and it's making me very upset. -CSM |

I mean that's coming from a pessimist. Someone could have died, you could have to go to the dentist, you could have the mumps, you could have to go to the dentist. I already said that. Well shows that the dentist is the greatest evil you can face. |

Also, pretend to be positive without looking happy, it keeps people from trying to bring you down most of the time. Other than that. Get some rest man. Without your health you have nothing. |
