Got this letter yesterday about my student loans.

My first payment date has been bumped up to November, rather than the February date I was given in my last notice from the summer. Again, I got this letter yesterday.
I called my school & my lender, & they each took turns blaming each other for the short notice & making up BS excuses for the change. I have no legal means to challenge it either.

If I didn't also already have a car payment, this wouldn't be so bad; I do make enough to cover one major bill a month with a healthy amount of change. That's why I was relying on the grace period lasting until February, to give me time to build up some more savings from my pay overage & also hopefully get a second job. Now I don't have that time. I have to cut into my emergency savings immediately. And if I can't get any other work in a reasonable period from now, I will be completely screwed.

Now I'm worried my debt is going to force me to stay working at Kmart longer than I'd planned, 'cause I literally can't afford to take the risks for my autueristic career that I'd been planning anymore, and NOBODY ELSE IS FREAKING HIRING.

Why the hell are there no scholarships for graduate students!?
