I've heard mixed, but I think as long as your body can handle the sugar, it's good to drink to replenish electrolytes (especially if you are having a hard time keeping food in your body).

Sugar triggers the body to absorb more fluid than normal, so as long as you're also drinking straight water, a sports drink would probably give you a little boost while you're ill.

I would've been pretty shocked if someone just took my drink, and if I was sick at the time, I probably would have just sat there dumbfounded by the whole event. o_o

yeah, I was dumbfounded. o-o Even more than the time someone took my OJ a couple years ago - except that was more understandable. (Sitting next to each other, we both put our own OJs on the bench, he grabbed mine by mistake)
