I cut my finger deep with a sharp knife.

It's bleeding pretty bad. -CSM

At least the knife was sharp.

I've done that twice so far. And I remember both times. First time I was opening the packaging on my PSP, second time I was getting the ties off of some Christmas decoration.

WAR WOUND.

I remember not too long ago I cut myself trying to open one of those stupid packages the Nintendo Points cards come in. I was being a bit unsafe with my pocket knife and accidentally nicked my left index finger. It was deep, but still small enough to heal on its own. Bled like a bitch, though.

I remember trying to open a pair of headphones with a pocket knife. Rather than cutting my finger, I actually stabbed it, which hurt muchly.

Yeah, I've had some bad run-ins with knives. Usual first aid: put pressure on it until it stops bleeding, then keep it clean and dry while it heals. If the wound is too deep and it keeps bleeding or being tugged open by movement, you might need to stop in and get it glued/stitched by a doctor.

I've usually been pretty careful with knives even though I have slipped and nicked myself with something like a razor or art knives before.

I'm afraid of knives, and these stories scare me.

I've got relatively few knife scars, considering how very, very often I use my pocketknife (keeping it sharp helps---mine can split lightning, son).

I hope you didn't damage the nerves. A girl I know did that when she cut herself with a can lid.

A cut wound should typically be cleaned first, then pressurized & eventually bandaged once the active bleeding subsides. If it happened more like a puncture, though, do the pressure immediately & just use something clean to do it.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I managed to cut my palm once, that was one sharp knife i tell you cause it went straight into the hand and blood started to come out and i think it stuck deep cause it was very dark blood that came out!

Healed great though and extended my Headline with about 1.5cm

Cut stories? When I was 9, I decided it would be a great idea to play basketball indoors. A glass light cover broke when I hit it by accident and I caught most of the falling glass shards in my left hand. Large ones, small ones, all over. Took a while to heal, and I have scars from it. My sister got cut up and down her arms, but she did not get pieces of glass lodged in her. I learned a valauble lesson that day.

I've kinda lost count how many times I've been stabbed/cut myself with a knife. But I can tell you that nothing on god's green earth hurts more, than a cut on a knuckle by a splintered bone......

I actually have some pics on my phone, I just don't know how to upload them. Besides, the blood is NSFW anyway.

I went to the emergency room this morning; the bleeding didn't stop. They gave me this gel bandage that I'm supposed to keep on until Monday. I'm just lucky I don't need stitches. -CSM
