First time I was opening the packaging on my PSP, second time I was getting the ties off of some Christmas decoration. WAR WOUND. |

I was being a bit unsafe with my pocket knife and accidentally nicked my left index finger. It was deep, but still small enough to heal on its own. Bled like a bitch, though. |

Usual first aid: put pressure on it until it stops bleeding, then keep it clean and dry while it heals. If the wound is too deep and it keeps bleeding or being tugged open by movement, you might need to stop in and get it glued/stitched by a doctor. http://theDragonsHoard.bigcartel.com | Handmade gemstone jewellery |

If it happened more like a puncture, though, do the pressure immediately & just use something clean to do it. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

When I was 9, I decided it would be a great idea to play basketball indoors. A glass light cover broke when I hit it by accident and I caught most of the falling glass shards in my left hand. Large ones, small ones, all over. Took a while to heal, and I have scars from it. My sister got cut up and down her arms, but she did not get pieces of glass lodged in her. I learned a valauble lesson that day. |

But I can tell you that nothing on god's green earth hurts more, than a cut on a knuckle by a splintered bone...... |

Besides, the blood is NSFW anyway. I went to the emergency room this morning; the bleeding didn't stop. They gave me this gel bandage that I'm supposed to keep on until Monday. I'm just lucky I don't need stitches. -CSM |
