Last minute birthday plans cancelled.

Last Saturday I went out with someone. She sounded like she really respected me and said I was extremely sweet and kind. But after a week of chatting with her and waiting to see if it would play out she said "although you're a great guy, you're not the right guy for me." She then praised me for my "kindness" and "openness." Because of this email I have no one to spend my birthday with now. This, combined with my stolen bike, makes for a very sad week.

(PS: the average age for men marrying in this country is 25; I have two days to start another relationship before I'm officially over the hill according to society and the media).

(PPS: I had nightmares about all this last night, among other things, such as my stolen bike and the fact that the government is going to cut all rail spending and increase highway spending)

That's "average age," which means there's an equal number of men over that age to balance it down to that point.

Also, don't compare yourself with other people.
