So, I just accidentally drew on my computer...

So, here I am in my room, my laptop on my, well, lap, my notebook on top of the keyboard as I draw. And then, all of a sudden, I accidentally swipe the lead of my mechanical pencil against the screen.

Thinking it the natural thing to do, I lightly rub the eraser against the screen, and get most of it off, but there's still the sort of shade on the screen. I mean, it's kind of hard to spot when there's something besides white on the screen, but what can I do?

Because it's not "clearly" visible unless you're looking for it.

My advice would be to stop looking for it (difficult for me, since I have obsessive tendencies). I would leave it that way before risking serious damage to the screen, though.
