And if anyone does beat the high score(s) and keeps it for 24 hours they will receive points to be used in the vbPlaza. There is no set point limit, but please be able to play the person points that you set. Thank you. P.S. if any questions please PM me or Deku |

For example, I really like Tetris and I currently have the high score. It's been a long time since I've even seen a new score on that scoreboard, so I'm offering 3000 points to anyone who can beat my score(I'd offer more for a score like that, but my points were wiped out. Maybe I'll offer more later). However, there's a lot of freedom here. If you'd like to make a wager with a specific member that he or she can't beat your score in a certain ammount of time, or if you'd like to set a sort of entrance fee to an open challenge, there's nothing stopping you. You can even challenge a member to see which of you can get the higher score at the end of some predetermined date, even if neither of you has the high score. In fact, if there's a highscore that isn't yours and you just happen to think it has stood for too long, you can challenge people to beat it, but it will be your points on the line. Again, there's a lot of freedom here. Last edited by Deku Trii; 05-27-2006 at 12:57 PM. |

I'm issuing 3 challenges. 700 points to the first member who can beat and hold my Bubbles high score for 24 hours. 700 points to the first member who can beat and hold my Beach Pong score for 24 hours. 700 points to the next member who can break 1,000,000 points in Tetris. Three thousand points still goes to the first member who can beat my current Tetris high score; they don't even have to hold it. |

While I suspect that you managed to get it to bounce straight up and down on the paddle (I managed it once, but my mouse sensitivity is so high that simply trying to take my hand off the mouse moved it too much) a deal is a deal. You'll get your points in the next day or two. |

I'm going to try something new here and see how it works out. In an effort to stir things up a bit, I will be awarding 500 points to anyone who can beat the oldest standing high score. Currently, that high score is for Hexxagon. If and when someone beats that score, points will be awarded and the challenge will then apply to the "new" oldest high score. Savvy? |

But...I am the one who did it, so nobody gets any points. Anyway. The oldest high-score in the Arcade now is for Asteroids. Be the first one to beat 117600 in that game to win 500 points! |

While I'm at it, I'll go ahead and list all of the active challenges. Deku Trii's challenges: Bubbles: 2000 points to the first member who can beat and hold my Bubbles high score for 24 hours. Bugz: 2000 points to the first person who can beat and hold my Bugz score for 24 hours. Tetris: 2000 points to the next member who can break 1,000,000 points in Tetris. 5000 points goes to the first person who can beat my score. In addition, 1500 points will be given to anyone who beats the oldest standing high score. The oldest high score at the moment is Asteroids, which is nearly 200 days old. Platinum's Challenge: Curveball- Half of all Platinum's points will go to anyone who can claim his Curveball score for 24 hours. Sai's Challenge: Glops 2: 500 points to whoever can beat Sai's Glops 2 score. |
