Hey is it possible - VGF

To use my avatar and create my character as one of the fightable AI bots ?? Assign what ever attributes you wish to the AI bot, I just thought it would be cool to see random members of VGF up on the AI list especially now that our stats are RPG based !!

That would need to be done by an RPG mod.

I think the interest died off about a month or so ago. I suspect it will stay pretty much dead until V3 hits in a couple months.

I play it for a while every time I log on but I get tired fighting the lower level bots, I just thought it wold be a cool change of scenery seeing a Jay avatar or Shanes or any other members avatar instead of some of the AI bots that have no picture on them at all....besides the time it takes to level up once you hit past level 25 is a bit too long I think.

They should raise the levels of the bots so there is more experince from battles.

Maybe it should be more like World of Warcraft and make you run around the world delivering parcels and monster viscera.

I already did a lot of 'bot revamping to improve leveling speed post-20, but hardly anyone's been playing, so it's next to impossible to tell.

More bot sprites will happen as soon as I finish moving (yes, I am moving. Like... Saturday.) and have my own computer hooked up to a 'net connection again.

I'd love to say I know just how to alter things so that it's smoother and more fun, but with nobody playing, I've got no feedback to work off of. All I have is some basic stuff I worked out about relative values of stats, et cetera, so nothing that I'm putting in is being tested at all, nevermind extensively.

To a certain degree, we're in a downward spiral for the RPG:

People aren't playing because it's not as fun as it could be, therefore there's nobody telling me what's making it less fun, so I can't make it more fun, so people aren't playing because it's less fun, et cetera.

IF you want it to get better THEN you have to play, and let me know when you think things ought to be changed (it also wouldn't hurt to stay abreast of the 'updates' thread on this section of the forum, so that you know when I've changed something, rather than having to guess).

I've been working mostly on mapping out the job trees and plotting job stat bonuses lately, because there's been no changing I know whether or not to do....

At least that means we'll have full job trees (through level 999) fairly soon, but that still won't help if people don't start playing and giving feedback (I still haven't got anything at all in the way of feedback on Summons).

Would it be possible to upload my avatar and use it in place of one of the pre-existing AI Bots. Or if it is possible to make some AI bots that are members of VGF ?? I would love to choose a bot that had the name Saeed or even Shane with his current Avatar

That'll have to wait a bit, Joker, but it is something I was planning to do.

First, though, I need to get all of the basic stuff out there and reach a point where I'm sure of the game balance.

But there will be extras. Mark my words, there will be....
