| Marshmallow Knight ☆ Supermod | The Inner Life of a Cell The Inner Life of a Cell (shorter preview trailer, no dialogue) Detailed 3D animation of a leucocyte's daily grind. Lots of sciency moon-language, but you don't need to know what is said to find it awesome. For me, it was a total blast; I mean, I've heard about the endoplasmic reticulum and the lipid bi-layer of cells, but to actually see it as fluid, individual molecules? Seeing mRNA being decoded right in front of your eyes? Motor proteins transporting vesicles? Awesomesauce. [edit: Less impressive YouTube version, in case you can't see the above links: YouTube - The Inner Life Of A Cell (HQ) ] Last edited by Ace Mercury; 10-28-2006 at 10:39 PM. |
