Alright so, this is a video produced by myself and another counselor at a Japanese language camp. The concept was rushed (made in a day, filmed in 2), and we had to get the kids to work around with the Japanese (though there is very little, so you don't need to understand the words so much). I'll put out a script of the dialogue later. The thing that is pulled out of the tofu in the beginning is a nametag that we all wear, and the ones in black jackets are the staff.

PS Some of the kids had NO idea what was going on when we filmed it... you can probably tell which ones when you see their "natural" reactions. Heheh. We're so evil at Japanese camp.

So... backstory aside, any questions, comments?

So ummm, the jist of the plot goes like this, and hopefully this will explain things you might not understand while watching.

Okay, so the idea is that the video is a spoof off of Soylent Green. Basically, everyone being taken away is apparently being made into Tofu at this camp, as shown in the beginning of the film with the nametag resting inside a block of tofu. Throughout the movie, the main character whom you meet in the beginning notices all this happening, but doesn't know WHY it's happening. Then at the end it's supposed to move back to where she asks what Tofu is... and then the camera pans back to show the staff looking at her menacingly. This is meant to be a thriller/horror spoof of an ending where you ASSUME she is taken away, but you never know for sure what happens.

Again, I realize that the lack of words does not explain this, but being that it's a language camp video made from people who know nothing about film, what can ya do, eh? ^_^ I realize that being a camp video, inside jokes are implied. I hope that clarifies what you didn't understand.
