On-and-off for the last few months I've been working on a little tribute to the slightly-unloved Wario Land series, featuring AC/DC. It's my second music video, (my first one probably won't appeal to anyone here). Anyway, here's "When Moneytalks, Wario Listens". Some clips are a bit fuzzy, sorry.

To answer your edited question: yes they are. In fact, they're my favorites of the series. WLII especially. Just going thru the game normally doesn't take very long, but finding all the treasures, secret exits, and paths that the story can take takes a long time. What I really enjoyed about WL3 (it was the first one I ever played) was how Wario learns new moves over the course of the game. What I didn't like was how easy it was to get confused at what your objectives were sometimes. Despite what's shown in the video, I haven't played the first Wario Land or Wario World, so I can't offer my thoughts on them. Shake It! was a tad disappointing.

The reason I ask about WLII and WLIII is because I've heard bad things about it, mainly because it's confusing, and Wario is invincible. |

Wario Land II, with its vast plethora of secrets, treasures, and divergent paths is an amazing game, and one of my favorite platformers ever. Wario Land 3 isn't as great, and Wario Land 4 was... a disappointment, to say the least. Last edited by Mikhail Gorbachev; 07-25-2009 at 01:21 PM. |

I always felt it was sort of unfair how they shoved away Wario's main image of the Microgame$ one. |
