Doug does some awesome stuff, though i like Linkara and spoonys stuff a little better by some reason.

But then these guys is by my point of view the Rookie team of awesome on the internet, i compare some of this stuff to jibjab and i laugh at both sites.

I love linkara's vids, too. ('Specially Batman: Fortunate Son, cause that was epic.) But Doug's video's are just a little bit more hilarious. But it's a close contest.

I like AVGN a lot more. All this guy does is scream...But one of my friends likes him a lot. *shrugs*

Yeah, AVGN also has pretty awesome vids. Like the Bible games reviews, for example.

Wow. You can't seriously be saying you prefer AVGN because he screams less. I mean, not to take anything away from you, but it's actually kind of the other way around. NC uses well-written, almost MST3k-level quips whereas AVGN just sort of shouts **** a lot and then gets frustrated.

On the subject of the rest of Channel Awesome, I enjoy Linkara and Sage's material as well. TeamFourStar (aka teambetterwhenyougivethemafairchance) is also good, albeit slow. Paw is cool if you're a music nerd like me, and he seems to be a pretty layed back guy. His Let's Play segments are a lot more bearable than most of the internet's takes on the concept. Now that LittleKuriboh is officially an affiliate, I suppose I can add him to my list of favored Channel Awesome members as well.

AVGN seems more real, as if his disgust is not as forced. And his low-brow humor and lack of a decent vocabulary is kinda the draw.

I did like their little clash they had though.

I think what you're missing is the AVGN reviews everyone knows and generally dislikes--the ones where he did nothing but scream incoherently. You can see them too--just look back to his earlier ones, but not too early.

Otherwise, yes. Modern AVGN screams a bit less.

That said, his humor relies a bit too much on the source material to be funny enough to get regular views from me. Nostalgia Critic may have to rehearse, but he can make anything funny to me.

But that's me.

I think NC's come a long way since last year. Also, I'm not even going to edit the grammatical errors in that last post I made in this topic last November. We'll just let them stay. Preserve the stupidity.

There are some new Channel Awesome peeps I like these days... Mostly Brad Jones (The Cinema Snob) and the Rap Critic. I prefer RC over Toddintheshadows because even though they both have pretty poor delivery, Rap Critic's a better writer. But that may just be me. Haven't really tried to get into any of the other numerous (and mostly pointless) additions to the team... I liked LordKat for a while, but I haven't checked in on him for a few months.
