Underrated Sketches

My personal favorite underrated sketches are the Upperclass Twit Olympics, the Silly Job Interview, and the Mattress Sketch.

I'm not sure if it's underrated, but you never hear about it, I'm gonna go with "The Tale of Happy Valley" from the second German episode, since it's my all-time favorite sketch.

THE DEAD PARROT SKETCH.

Just kidding. Hmm.. I don't know. I like the deja vu sketch a lot. And Raymond Luxury Yacht. I only just saw that happy valley episode and it's hilarious. "Armed with only a sword, you must climb the highest building, and jump off!"

I forgot about "Village Idiot". And any sketch the Gumbies are in is usually pretty good. There's a classic "Who's on First" moment in one sketch about marriage, which I saw on an episode the other night...

Needless to say, Monty Python's sketch repertoire is almost too much for me to explore!

No-one ever seems to talk about Election Night (with the Sensible Party vs the Silly Party). I distinctly remember laughing so hard that I wept.

^****, man, I forgot that one. Helluva sketch; I always laugh at a Python sketch, but that one had me in stitches.

I never considered the Piranha Brothers sketch to be underrated, but when talking about Python yesterday with three sketch comedy enthusiasts, I learned that none of them knew about it. So I'll go ahead and call the Piranha Brothers one of my favorite underrated sketches.

"Dinsdale said, 'Oh, you've been a naughty boy, Clement..." and he splits me nostrils open, and saws me leg off, and pulls me liver out. And I said, 'My name's not Clement.' And uh... then he loses his temper, and he nails my head to the floor." -Graham Chapman as Vince Snetterton Louis.

The argument clinic is one of my favorites. There's more but I just can't think of them right now.

Actually Election Night Special, and Arguement are very popular sketchs. I wouldn't class them as Underrated.

I don't know if it's underrated or not, but Salad Days is another one of my favorites.
