What is favorite videogame series? - VGF

I haven't seen this topic anywhere else....so here it is.

My list:

1.Mario games(Donkey Kong series,Wario series,etc)
2.Starfox games
3.Kirby games
4.Sonic games
5.Legend of Zelda games
6.Banjo Kazooie games
7.Metroidgames(Even though I only played 1 Metroid game)

and a few others.

How a bout all of you?

Zelda is my favorite.

I am also a huge fan of Mario, Pokemon (RPGs), Sonic, Donkey Kong (the old platformers) and Kingdom Hearts.

Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Banjo, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong platformers, Mega Man (NES games).

I also like Star Fox 64, but I don't really like the other games in that series (haven't played Armada yet). I used to be a big fan of Pokemon, but lost interest shortly after Stadium 2.

Ack! I just realized a horrifying truth, I do have a fav series.

Arc the Lad, but it's just one game of theirs I like.

I also like the RE series. "Jill Sandwich!" How unoriginal.

As for the Mario series, Nintendo needs to put a decent game out that actually doesn't include the plumber mascot. Star Fox series, now THAT is a series.

I'm only listing series with more than two games in them (otherwise Power Stone would just blow everything else right the hell off my list).

1. Metal Slug
2. Soul Blade/Calibur
3. Dynasty/Samurai Warriors
4. Disgaea, La Pucelle Tactics, Phantom Brave and Makai Kingdom (they count as a single series of games in my book)
5. Oddworld
6. Ratchet and Clank
7. King of Fighters/Fatal Fury (I'm counting them together because characters are always crossing over from one to the other)
8. Monkey Island
9. Ninja Gaiden
10. Pirates!

A lot of you are probably scratching your heads at my list. My reasoning is simple--my favourite franchises don't have any stinkers. None of the above franchises have ever disappointed me, and I think they're just the cat's pajamas because of it.
