Thumbs up Super Mario All Stars

Sorry, life has brought me the joy of exams. I shall be preoccupied with them for the coming weeks so this may be sporadic.

Anyway, I didn't own this game but I have played it many times on my friend's SNES. Bit pointless if you own the games on there but I enjoyed it cos I didn't own most of them, being retro and all. Overall, great if you don't own the games on there.

You may resume nominations process. You have until Monday to nominate at least 3.

SMAS is better than the NES games simply because you can save.

I'm also rather amazed that Nintendo chose to release all the NES games on a single cartridge instead of porting them on a yearly basis, but this was over ten years ago.

The hit detection has been altered, and so has the clock. I can do jumps in the original Super Mario Bros. that are impossible on the newer Mario Allstars version.

The save is nice for Mario 3, though.

I nominate Killer Instinct 2.

^I didn't like the graphical changes they made to SMB, nor the stupid new music they gave everything. (Remember that awesome music that used to play after the Koopaling battles in SMB3? Yeah. Talk about fixing something that wasn't broken.)

There's a weird thing about SMB3 on that. When you save, quit, and restart it takes you to the beginning of the world. Meaning you can recollect all your items, and possibly end up with more than three whistles.

I nominate Phoenix Wright.

I've played this game, but never owned it. I do own all the Mario Advances, so I have played SMB2 and 3 in the same manner. I liked the updated graphics and save features.

I know I'm supposed to be impartial and all, but I also vote for Phoenix Wright.

I don't like how they changed all the Animales the kings where trned into.

But atleast Peach still had her humorus refrence to the first game at the end unlike SMA4 which ruined the whole thing by takeing that out.
