People complain about the story. Exactly the same every time!? Get the **** outta here! Out of more than 80 games and cameos in all, a few were save the princess. Now the platformers, WOW! Their amazing. The adventure games: Outta sight. Zelda, however, is amazing. Mario gets the girl, Link is left alone. Doesn't get a REWARD. His games are worth begging parents for, or saving up a buncha cash for. But I love his games. Mario games are very fun, and in depth. Also, they are more famous for their secrets; more secrets than any Zelda game. Also, Zelda puzzles are very easy if you're a VETERAN like me. But MM, one of my favorite games, had me stumped. Very hard. Mario games, however, can look easy. But holy Lord in Heaven, can they be hard. They can get so frustrating. One time I almost cried over losing in a level like 20 times. Unbeatable. In short, both games are hard at times. Both are easy at times. Mario games are indeed very different almost every time. Many people complain about Mario being cutesy. He is not. Look at all of his games. Empires crushed under the Mario Bros. boots. Death everywhere. Zelda games are also cutesy too. I never heard the word "Death" or "Kill" in a Zelda game. Always defeat or destroy. Only in WW have I heard "kill". And Link never dies. In WW and most others, it says you "collapse from exhaustion". Look at Mario Adventure and RPG games. The deaths in those games are sorta gruesome. Especially Luigi's Mansion and SM64 and SM64DS. And the two Mario Bros. RPG's. Another thing. People complain that Mario characters don't speak. Go complain elsewhere, like the Zelda series. And Link. The last thing. 70-80 appearances in the Mario Universe. Link: 15 or so. Pshh! |

I voted for Mario and co. because Link is sorta.... less fun at times. Mario gets me pissed when I lose more than 3 times. I hate when I die in Zelda because you have to go from the beginning of the friggin dungeon all the way up to the room you were in. Also, the bosses are too easy, especially in OOT. |

I was just saying that I found that first post to be rather ridiculous at times. As for the actual question, I find myself caught in the middle. They both have their pros and cons, but overall, I think they level out to an equally enjoyable experience. |

But i must give the LoZ games the nob for story, it's so dep and complex that even Nintendo can't make a working timeline for it. ( Yes I know how full of plotholes it is but still, half of the fun is trying to sew up the plot holes.) |
