Quest 64 will be the Game of the Week next week. Therefore, no nominations need take place this week. Anyway, I don't know a lot about this game, I never played any of the Megaman series, I know it was released on the SNES and Koga's probably played it. |

In fact I haven't played any Mega Man X game and I can't really say why. I love the classic series, but I never bothered to try the X series, probably because I din't want to ruin the nostalgia of the first series ![]() |

Not as much as the first one, but I've still played through it, like, ten times (once on X Collection for the PS2). ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! | Super Bodyguard & King of the Arcade | Eh, probably my least favorite of the SNES X games. Really catchy music though. |

The PSX ones go X5, X4, X6 from favorite to least favorite (X6 makes me want to kill things) ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there! |

| Senior Member | Not a bad game at all. It's a fun, somewhat difficult game. I rate it better then X3, but not as good as X1. Yeah. |

The X-Hunters were a great touch, and the music was pretty darn good. If you haven't played it, I suggest you do so. And by the way, I enjoy the X series (or at least the good ones of the series) more than the original series. Total thumbs up. |

Gender: Posts: 2,297 Thanks: 164 Thanked 128 Times in 88 Posts | I have and have played in original format X-1 through X-7 and Command Mission. Command Mission felt too much like a bastardized FF8 or FF9 in terms of gameplay for me. X2 was one of the better MMX's. I've never much cared for 5 or 6 compared to the others (aside from the Gaia Armor in X5, which FREAKIN' RAWX). I like X1 best of the first three X games, though, with X2 a close second. X3, for some reason, involved a huge up-ramping in difficulty, which geared back down for X4, and the use of Zero in X3 was a bit clunky (also, while a couple of the maverick designs for X3 were pretty good, a few of them were just dumb IMHO). My only complaints about X2 are that 1. it's next to impossible to get that one armor piece in Magna Centipede's level; 2. beating the altered form of Agile in the fortress is too easy to cheap out on; and 3. that chunk at the end with the fake Zero/real Zero thing is stupid hard to get the slightly different ending with. Great game otherwise, though, especially for an SNES game. |
