First I'd like to say I finally beat the game last week, I got both endings and I love the game. (Not as good as MP1, but whaddever) So, today, on my second playthrough, I got the first octolith on Arcterra. (my fourth one, btw) Yeah, so I was escaping, and I fough Trace on the way back. Pwned him. Went to the Guardian's. They unfortunately pwned my 64 health. Left with 12, I was killed by a freakin' Geemer. So, I try to beat it again. I nail Trace until he is in the red zone and he goes alt. form. Near the ramp with the ledge above it, (it glows yellowish, and Trace starts the battle there) He smacks right into me and I fly through a hole and am in a black void where I immediately asplode (I was morph ball) and my Octolith was stolen. I was like W....T....F. Any comments. Has it happened to you? Anything simular? Other glitches? |

That's why I quit playing it. The way I understand it, the walls only work corretly if you're actually moving. If you're holding still the game says "Hey! He's not moving, so there's no reason to make the walls solid because there's no way he can pass through them!" Unfortunately, it only takes into account if you're the one actually moving your character. If you get hit by something that throws you, like say, Trace's alt attack, then it doesn't respond, so if it happens fast enough there's a good chance you can pass straight into the void and instantly die. You can also trigger this yourself by backing up to an especially thin part of a wall, charging a missle or the magmaul and firing it at the ground in front of you so that the blast pushes you back a bit. It's all too common to see people abusing this trick in online play. ![]() |

I just got so pissed off at one particular part (I forgot where, exactly. But the skinny of it is that I had no idea where I was going) that I turned it off and put it away for a day. A day turned into like 3 months. |
