Still, one can dream. Rare's keeping its stable of N64 heroes alive, at least, what with PDZ, the new BK, and that not-all-that-great DS port of DKR. Oh, and fond as I am of KI and JFG, I'd take a new BC over either one any day of the week. (And screw 'Battletoads' anyway. I'm dead serious.) __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president

I'm as well aware as anybody we're never going to see another Blast Corps., or Jet Force Gemini, or Killer Instinct, and we may yet see another Battletoads just because the industry's sense of humor is kind of sick like that. I never played NiGHTS - having never owned a Saturn, like most of the civilized world - but I can see where this would be a big thing. That game has one of the only commercials I remember from that far back. |

And amidst all the sequel-after-sequel-after-same-bloody-game-sequel Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter and King of Fighters and Guilty Gear, it would really, really be nice to see a new Killer Instinct. And you have to admit, with all the 4-player consoles out there, you could invent one more Battletoad and have an almost instant sale. |

I'm willing to bet that 99.8% of the people pissing themselves over this title have never even seen a Saturn, let alone played NiGHTS or the stand-alone christmas pack. Why is it good, especially considering Sega hasn't exactly put out anything good in a long time.

Interestingly, I don't own a Saturn either. It was a friend of mine who introduced me to NiGHTS six years back or so. Still, I was blown away by the game and play it frequently. Not too long ago, he finally came into possession of a working disk of the Christmas promo as well. And it was good. I've been meaning to pick up a Saturn for a while now... but with the news of NiGHTS2, finding a copy of the original game will probably become impossible. And yeah Wy, the Internets is gonna implode soon. Get your kicks in now. ![]()

I remember trying it at a store display-it seemed alright, but I had to choose between that and 'Virtua Cop 2' (hardly a choice at all). __________________ Boo--the only dude bad enough to rescue the president |

I think the bigger thing back then was the controller, that was the fist analog on a console and nights was the first to use it... |
