Fantastic, I finally got my Wii hooked up to our new wireless router and I downloaded Donkey Kong Country off virtual console. Now the only other game I want is International Superstar Soccer Deluxe. I don't need anymore games. Seriously.

^I wasn't too fond of it. It feels too much like an arcade game and the story seems really hard to follow or to get into for that matter

New games coming out tomorrow, I think.

...please, let one of them be badass. Like a Banjo game, but that's unlikely...

The whole SFII thing needs to stop. Just let people download upgrades or something. :\

While the story being so convoluted was kind of a drag, I like that it was built like an arcade game. It's very similar to other games by Treasure, notably Ikaruga, in those respects. On top of that, I found that the game play was noticeably more polished than most arcade rail shooters, another Treasure hallmark, so for someone like me who likes arcade shooters but finds them a little too rushed, this game was a lot of fun.

However, it certainly doesn't have a universal appeal, and I'm sure a lot of gamers would be put off by the negative aspects of the game you mentioned.

A lot of gamers are probably turned off by the funky control scheme.

I don't know if I'd say "a lot." I'm not very good at these kinds of games (but I still love them), and if I can play it, chances are most gamers can too. Off-putting, maybe. But I think at least most genre fans would get past it easily.

Sin and Punishment was awesome, anyone who doesn't like it was a communist, et cetera and so forth.

Now where is my EarthBound? I been waiting a while, Nintendo.

I've always been interested in Phantasy Star. Should I go for it?

Wasn't Phantasy Star 2 the one with that tragic Story?

US:

(N64) Kirby 64
(TG-64) Psychosis

EU:

(NES) Street Gangs (River City Ransom)
(NES) Adventure Island

Dammit Europe, why do you always get the good VC games first? If you get Earthbound before us...

Kirby 64? Hmm...Maybe I'll get it, despite it's clear lack of Meta-Knight.

Damn you, Europeans! You got the one game I want, and you made the title wicked lame!

But Kirby 64? Very fun times, I gotta say (not to mention an awesome final boss song that's getting an epic remix for Brawl). Though not a terribly long or difficult game, I rate it as the most challenging Kirby game overall. I say fork over the Wii points.

I really liked the mini-games in 'Kirby64'. They were a big hit up at camp, too (especially the block-dropping madness).
