For VGF to Thrive Again, Nintendoland Needs to Be Running Again

VGF might be doing fine, but its Nintendoland thats dead.(well, except for the message boards) Someone needs to takeover it like Link said. I hate to see such good sites die.

I'd just like to say now, when I was here and Nintendoland was updated regularly, these forums really thrived. It's only my opinion but I liked to call it the "Golden Age" of VGF. That was when we had around 3000-4000 members. I knew so many neat people here. Then later it kinda dropped off, then I left. But now, after realizing how many people I missed and what great times I had, I came back and now it's fun time again.

Again, this is only my opinion. If you disagree with me, that's fine but if you flame my response, I'm not taking any heed to it. Thank you for your time. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Golden Time was Summer 2000.

The only way to have VGF in its prime is to bring bakc the net economy, kick all of the newer members out (bad idea BTW) and bring back all of the amazing members that left.

Ah, yes, those were the days. I could name a couple dozen members I knew that were really great. I know some of them still go here, but quite a few don't. It's kinda sad I will never hear from them again, they were really great to talk to.

There were always stupid spammers, not that I was here from back in 2000. But from the time I've been here I'd say the spam has gone way down. The problem is that many of the good members have left, and for whatever reason, vgf no loger attracts them like it used to. A good member can easily equal 1000 WvsWs.

Im with you there. I really hope that someone attempts to take it over and NintendoLand would be the most popular site ever. I still visit it even if it's not being updated.
