At the AOU 2003 Amusement Expo, PGC had an opportunity for a brief Q and A session with Amusement Vision representative, Ms. Otoshi Masae.

Planet GameCube: How many tracks will there be in the AC and GC version? Will they be completely different?

Otoshi Masae of Amusement Vision: I cannot comment on how many tracks will be in the final versions. However, all the tracks in the GC version will be different from the AC version.

PGC: How much creative control does AV have during the development of F-Zero?

AV: Nintendo serves pretty much as a supervising role. As a result, AV handles everything else such as character design and music.

PGC: What can we expect regarding the music?

AV: In addition to remixes of original tunes, AV is also creating completely new tunes.

PGC: In Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto, Nintendo gave away Ura Zelda, which was only available for N64 DD. Will F-Zero GC have something like that? Specifically the expansion set with the track editor that was only available for the N64 DD.

AV: We do not have any details on that.

PGC: Will there be an online versus play option where players can race over a network?

AV: There are no such features planned currently. The only similar thing would be the PC Net Ranking system.

Arcade. In this particular context; the arcade version of the new F-Zero.
