Sweeeet!!

Well, the two-characters-per-kart idea is certainly interesting. It's surprising to see Baby Luigi again, and it's very surprising to see Diddy Kong added into the mix. After all, while Donkey Kong has appeared in virtually every Mario multiplayer fest, Nintendo has, up until now, refrained from planting Diddy firmly in the Mushroom Kingdom.

So, we've waved goodbye to the indestructible generic karts... shame...

still, this could be interesting - imagine Multiplayer, with one person driving and another handling weapons. It could blow battle mode wide open.....

There probably is, which is good. Nintendo has stayed true to the original Mario Kart formula all this time while everyone else stole it and changed it with different things. It's nice to see Nintendo will be taking the top on Go-Kart games again. Two players on one kart? I assumed one person controlled them both, but if the two could switch driving, yeah, I could see that happening...

I wonder if this will remain a traditional Mario Kart game with circuits just to race on... or it will adopt a more story-oriented gameplay like Diddy Kong Racing had.
