![]() Game Brain Join Date: Dec 1999 Posts: 14,262 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | According to IGN, Nintendo has announced that Retro Studios' next contribution to the Metroid series will debut at this year's E3! The game won't be playable, but instead on display via a short video teaser clip. After the greatness that was Metroid Prime, I can't wait for this sequel. |

| Guest | I love Metroid Prime, but I would also like to see Retro work at another type of game. But then again, Rare started with 3 Donkey Kong titles when they developed exclusively for Nintendo, and they came with a lot of awesome games afterwards. |

Making sequels to sequels is how you get a series. The Mario games are sequels. The Zelda games are sequels. A helluva lot of the best games out there are sequels. |
