A quick heads up to people with old tellys and a desire to play the Zelda bonus disk: Master Quest and Ocarina of time support PAL60hrz ONLY. This is the first European game EVER to do this, so make sure your TV can support the quicker framerate.

I kinda got scared when the guy at the game store told me that, since I have no idea what kind of tv I have. Fortunately the disc works fine.

I only got the news yesterday that Aussies are getting the bonus disc for pre-ordering WW!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

We have a current TV so we shouldn't be affected by any of this...

Only TV's pre-1990 are likely to have a problem.

Actually, I'm glad they did this, because:

a) For this first time, we'll get to play OoT at full speed

b) If this catches on, 50Hrz support may be dropped altogether, meaning faster translation times....

Yeah I noticed how OoT is a lot faster. I thought it was because of the control stick, though.

You tard. It's because the GC is more advanced than the 64! Jeez.
But there goes Nintendo again, disrespecting their costumers and breaking their TVs.

PAL50hrz has more data lines but a slower framerate than NSCT, while PAL 60hrz has more data lines and the same framerate as NSCT.

Therefore, instead of the slowed-down PAL version, we get the full-speed US version.

PAL60Hrz input on a PAL50hrz TV produses a mono picture, which has the picture misalinged. It does not physicially harm the TV.

That's what you think now, but you just wait and see.
