Ya know that clap on thing that they have for lights, would it work if i hooked one of those to a gamecube and just left the gamecube in the on position? cause i want to be able to turn my gamecubeon and off from my bed, instead of having to get up to turn it on and off.

Don't tell him that, I wanna be able to laugh when he loses his game due to his 'brilliant addition of clapping'.

Actually, I have a solution for you. I have no lightbulb in my ceiling, so I use one of those 6' lamp things, however the switch on it is broken and it's across the room from my door. I took one of those extension cords with a button on them ,taped that up to the wall by my door and plugged the lamp into that. You could do that for your Cube...

But heh, some people work so hard to be lazy.

Just don't make clapping sounds when it says "Saving. Do not turn off or reset your GC"

Yeah it definently will work, since it just controls the power flow.

*thinks about the clapper idea* why the hell havent i bought that clapper attachment for my room! *goes to check on that idea* I hope they arnt sensitive to the sound of a cats meow.... I hate not letting my cats walk in at random times and it could cause a flaw in this fat mans power button idea...

Not a good idea. It would probably mess up the internal clock.

I would definitely advise against doing that. The Clapper works by shutting out the circuit in the device, and rerouting control to itself. It would be like using the power strip to turn your GC on and off. It would eventually have an effect, such as frying the wiring.
