Which video games do you think would make an awesome movie?

I vote Viewtiful Joe because a video game that is a spoof of all movies could make a great movie if implemented correctly(make it noncampy, funny and put in tons of action and violence and it'll get it's director an oscar and a academy award).

IF they made a cartoon mario movie, and actually had a somewhat viable plot, then that would be cool. Also, some of the fanfics Ive read would make good movies also.

I once heard a [pretty damn long] while ago that they were making a Zelda movie. There was a website which it was on but that was a long while ago..about 3 or so years. So I'm not sure. We would have heard about it by now.

^They were planning on making a Metroid movie, but unfortunately, the idea has since been scrapped.

Soul Calibur II would be cool too, if it were CGI and given lots and lots of TLC. And the horrible voice acting was redone.

Incidentally, Capcom has announced that the next Resident Evil movie will be released sometime next October, and will be called Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

I may be going out a limb here, but Metal Gear Solid (1&2) would be awesome movies. Although the games kinda where movies that you played...
