Hoshi No Kirby: Kagami No Daimeikyuu, roughly translated as Kirby: The Mirror Conundrum, will feature a new adventure for the HAL Labs creation. It will be an original game, not a port of an existing one like Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland released late last year. Kirby will feature new abilities, including an angelic power that grants him wings and a bow-and-arrow...much like Nintendo's own Kid Icarus. Players will be able to pull out a cellphone device to communicate with other characters in the game, but its energy must be replenished during play. The game's scheduled for release in March 2004 for the Japanese market. No word on a US edition. |

The title translates into English as "Kirby: The Labyrinth in the Mirror". Hoshi no Kirby: Kagami no Daimeikyuu has the same 2D action game format as previous Kirby releases, but adds four-player gameplay. By connecting four GBAs, each player can control their own Kirby and explore through different areas of the huge labyrinth in the game. When in need of assistance, players can call out other players for help and work together, even if they aren't originally in the same area. In single player mode, the CPU will control the other three players' characters. The game will also include three different mini-games for competition with human players via the GBA cable. Hoshi no Kirby: Kagami no Daimeikyuu is scheduled for release in March 2004 in Japan, at the retail price of 4,800 Yen ($44.68). |

I doubt it will cost that much in America. $44 is quite expensive for a GBA game, especially one from Nintendo. |
