A Sonic and Megaman game idea

Sonic and Megaman

Story: Metal Sonic is back and with a different goal, he's going to reconstruct a robot army more powerful than the one in Sonic Heroes. He's going to create an All-powerful army of Robot Mavericks to rule the world as him as a position as King of the Mavericks with while using Sigma(who helped him create the army but feels envious of his position) as a scapegoat to attract Megaman with.

Setting: Takes place after Dr. Wily's death by old age and after Sonic Heroes and before Megaman X

Gameplay: Features Sonic Heroes gameplay but with a Megaman twist. Switching off to a robot like Megaman or Emerl(which is available for use but is slower than Megaman and can equip few abilities but is already unlocked since you need to go unlock Megaman after venturing through a small bit of the game to a CG movie) can make it feel more like a Megaman game. You even select the B/A button abilities with the start button(and can even add special effects to the abilities) and can custom-select characters to use.

Teams are...

Team Sonic(Sonic, Megaman, Tails and Knux and more Heroes make up this team)
Team Dark(Metal Sonic, Sigma, Eggman and more characters)
Team Shadow(consisting of Shadow the Hedgehog and more characters)
Team Rose(Amy Rose, Roll, Big and Cream make up this team)
Team Chaotix(The usual Sonic Heroes team plus Bark, the Russian Polar Bear make up this team)

Enemy Stages are select ala Megaman style but you can still pursue Eggman but it's neccessary to collect the abilities by beating the mavericks and robots(it still has the original Megaman Bosses that have the 'Man" ending to their names").

The only problem is that Mavericks didn't exist before Megaman X. Hell, Sigma was a peaceful Reploid before he went ape****. That, and Sigma would never allow himself to be outranked by anyone, especially an outsider such as Metal Sonic.

I'm still trying to work on the plot since it's been so long since I last played Megaman X and the "Sigma" idea as a boss alongside Metal Sonic might be a different reploid before Sigma.

New Plot Idea: Metal Sonic/new incarnation of Metal Sonic starts to manipulate Sigma to become evil by starting up construction of reploids for him to use to conquer the world, Sigma becomes evil, envy builds up inside his metal framework and in the end, ends up trying to destroy the world and to prevent Sigma from destroying him, Metal Sonic merges with him which makes him even more pissed off and Metal Sonic/Sigma transforms into Omega Metal Enigma, so that Sonic and Megaman has to stop him by transforming into Super Sonic and Super Megaman with the 7 Chaos Emeralds.

I would comment on your idea, however I've only played Megaman and Sonic Heroes once each, so I woudln't really know what I'm talking about I guess. Keep putting thought into it though.

New Plot idea that is seperate from Megaman X: Metal Sonic w/ Super Emeralds beats up Sigma because his peaceful stance on world domination, which pissed him off when Metal Sonic decided to go too far. Sigma vows revenge by joining Team Shadow to reclaim his position, which was supposed to be higher than his. Midstory: Metal Sonic utilizes a new form of Chaos Control which is mind control on Sigma to make him go Maverick to prevent his overthrowing by Team Shadow(which he used on many reploids and robots and also on Humans and Animal-like Humans like Knuckles).

You can think up of new ideas in this topic.

Sonic and Megaman

Story: Metal Sonic is back and with a different goal, he's going to reconstruct a robot army more powerful than the one in Sonic Heroes. He's going to create an All-powerful army of Robot Mavericks to rule the world as him as a position as King of the Mavericks with while having Eggman(who is now the enemy of Megaman prior to Dr.Wily's death)be a scapegoat with the promise of an Eggman Empire while using Sigma to use his knowledge about reploids. Sigma begins to hate Metal Sonic because of his malevolence and plans a revolt. Metal Sonic beats him up to stop the revolt before it started and because he didn't like his peaceful stance on world domination. Sigma joins Team Shadow, a group set up by Shadow the Hedgehog to get revenge on Metal Sonic but in the end, ended up becoming Maverick and merged with Metal Sonic with the 7 Chaos Emeralds (there are now 8 different kinds of Chaos emeralds which is Normal, Fire, Love, Ice, Super, Electric, Wind and Star, which makes up a total of 56 emeralds plus they both have the same dark/light feature that applies to the normal ones) to become Super Metal Enigma which is so powerful that when Sonic first tried transforming into Super Sonic, he had to revert because none of his attacks could even leave a mark or even a scratch on him. Sonic and Megaman realized that the normal chaos emeralds alone can't do the job so they request the help of Super Forms of all the characters and then the final and hardest battle in the game ensues with Super Sonic and Super Megaman vs. Super Metal Enigma Omega because it also absorbed the dark side of the Emeralds.

Switching off to a robot like Megaman or Emerl(which is available for use but is slower than Megaman and can equip few abilities but is already unlocked since you need to go unlock Megaman after venturing through a small bit of the game to a movie) can make it feel more like a Megaman game. You even select the B/A button abilities (A on ground is still designated as jump, but it's height can be extended) with the start button and designate certain abilities that Megaman/Robots can use which can be selected quickly by the D-pad (and can even add special effects to the abilities) and can custom-select characters to use. Climbing formation can use ropes/knuckles to climb walls and attack enemies with ropes/knuckles

Teams are...

Team Sonic:Sonic, Megaman, Tails, Knuckles(is both climbing and power formation), Protoman and Emerl persue Team Dark
Team Dark: Metal Sonic, Sigma, Eggman, Nack the Weasel(speed formation but can wield guns, enemy of Chaotix) and bosses make up this team fighting good and running to spy on the other teams' plans
Team Shadow:Shadow, Zero, Bass, Rouge(both flying and climbing formation) and Omega(power formation) make this team with revenge on their minds(due to the Shadow clones of Sonic Heroes and the hatred of Metal Sonic) and Sigma joins up with this team for a short period of time
Team Rose: Amy Rose, Roll (Megaman battle network design and is climbing formation), Big, Cream and Gutsman make up this team trying to help Sonic out, that is, if they can find him
Team Chaotix:Charmy, Vector, Espio and Bark, the Russian Polar Bear(who has ice breath) make up this team, focusing on another mission, unknowingly supporting Team Dark

Enemy Stages are select ala Megaman style but you can still pursue Eggman but it's neccessary to collect the abilities by beating the mavericks and robots(it still has the original Megaman Bosses that have the "Man" ending to their names).

If you shoot me, then this game won't come to life. But that doesn't matter since my light sword can block all bullets with the shield of Banination.

It is best to duke it out in the Gunjin, and not here, this spot's reserved for posting ideas about a Sonic and Megaman game.
