The agreement also means that Eidos is no longer the publisher of the series. There have been two rather popular TimeSplitters titles so far, the first sequel especially so on the GCN. EA could guarantee more exposure and more sales. Development on TimeSplitters 3 has already begun and will release in 2005. "Choosing EA Partners as our publishing partner represents a big breakthrough for Free Radical," said Steve Ellis, Chairman of Free Radical Design. "We're already working hard on the next game, and hope that, with the help of EA Partners, we can reach many new players all over the world." |
