Here're the official US release dates for some of Nintendo's upcoming GCN and GBA games:

Mario Golf: Advance Tour...June 28
Mario VS Donkey Kong...May 24
Wario Ware, Inc: Mega Party Game$...April 5
Custom Robo...May 10

Is the Wario Ware a sequal of sorts to the GBA game, or a GCN counterpart?

^It's a sequel to Donkey Kong(1994), on the original Gameboy.

And for Wario Ware Mega Party Games, it's basically a Gamecube version of Wario Ware.

Actually, Wario Ware would be better described as being the same as Wario Ware... but multiplayer on the GCN,

Wario Ware, Inc for GCN has new mini-games, but it reportedly relies a lot more heavily on multiplayer than the GBA version.

As Curt has already said, Mario VS Donkey Kong is a GBA sequel to Donkey Kong, released for Game Boy in 1994.
